What does LibertySEO cost?
The platform itself — nothing: no subscription, no tiers. You pay only DataForSEO for live API calls, from your own token, at their prices. Revisiting already-fetched data costs nothing.
Where does the data come from?
From DataForSEO — a raw SEO data provider (SERP, backlinks, search volumes, competitors). LibertySEO stores their responses as-is, so every metric carries its snapshot date and can be traced to the source.
Where do I get a DataForSEO token?
Register at dataforseo.com, top up the balance (pay-as-you-go) and paste your API login and password into LibertySEO Settings. The token is validated with a free ping before saving — with clear hints if something's off.
Does the server see my token?
Your choice. In server mode the token is stored in the database encrypted with AES-GCM. In browser mode it lives only in your browser's localStorage — the server never sees it: your browser calls DataForSEO directly.
How do I keep spending under control?
Every paid call shows its price and waits for confirmation. On top of that: a monthly spend limit, and a usage report broken down by day, endpoint and site. There are no silent charges — neither in the web app nor through MCP.
Can clients view reports without an account?
Yes — share a read-only public link. The client sees the dashboard for that site, but can't trigger API calls or see your spending.
What do I need to run it?
